Ever since I started dueling with deck boxes, they were the blingiest items I'd ever laid eyes on. I eventually acquired one myself and have had it for over 10 years. In an attempt to buy more, I discovered that UltraPro has stopped producing these incredible things. This realization, combined with my capabilities and desire to own more, led me to create this 'clone' design. If you're curious, there's another style where the deck box opens from the side and is oriented horizontally rather than vertically. I'll be adding that one to this project in a week or two. I have no intention of stealing any intellectual property; this is simply my attempt to recreate a now discontinued and 'obsolete' product. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.1 Infill: 15-30% Notes: Edit: December 2016 I finally got these guys printed, and they worked just fine with the thickness of the inner tabs. However, please note it's better to print these at two shells. I tried printing them at three shells, but they didn't have enough initial give to allow for ease of slide on and off. If you're printing this design, be careful; the inlet latch of DeckBox.Up.Case uses a thickness of 1.5mm, so if your printer isn't calibrated or up to the task of printing such a fine wall, it will likely end in disaster. Until I get a chance to print this (somehow), I'm unsure how viable this design is. If I'm unable to make it printable, I'll alter the design overall to make a more accommodating wall. As it stands, you don't need to print off any of the DeckBox.Symbol files, but if you do, please note that they will need to be glued on. These files should be printable without support; let me know how that goes!
