Tbuser's Poopin Gnome with hat

tbuser's Poopin Gnome had me giggling, but it seemed his hat was missing the top - perhaps too tall for the Makerbot Digitizer? To remedy this, I found photos of "Squatting Garden Gnome" on Amazon (www.amazon.com/dp/B001E05KPK) and roughly modeled the hat in Sculptris. I also added more creases to the eyes and beard, and extended the front hat brim for better detailing. The entire model was tilted back 15 degrees and squared off the feet using NetFab. A big thanks to tbuser! After scaling it to 35% (78 mm tall), I printed it on a Replicator in green ABS with raft & support, 0.3mm layer height, and "low" settings - 230 deg extrusion, 100 deg platform, 100 mm/s speed. Hiding him among the shrubbery is the next step... wait and see!
