When assembling the ToM, it suddenly struck me that timing belts resemble tank treads when viewed from inside out. I have always been fascinated by small robots, so I decided to attempt building a chassis based on 140XL timing belts. This is what I purchased from eBay: The 300RPM motors proved to be unsuitable due to their lack of torque. Therefore, I opted for these instead: http://cgi.ebay.com/2x-12V-DC-1000-RPM-Mini-Torque-Gear-Box-Motor-Hobby-/220789730351?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item336817ec2f http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400073201227&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170540927152&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT I posted a small project description on LMR at http://letsmakerobots.com/node/27218.
