TBS Unify (or other VTx) cooling case for the MFD Nimbus
thingiverse
Flying into wet clouds or foggy mornings can catch you off guard while on a long mission. Although most parts of your plane handle moisture well, being inside the fuselage, your VTx is not immune to these conditions. It needs airflow from outside to function properly. I built this enclosure to hold a 40x40mm fan and my TBS Unify transmitter in place. The bottom fits snugly on the Nimbus's tailboom. After installation, you can seal the holes with glue or any other material that suits your preference. The lid should be able to withstand normal moisture and light rain without issue. Cooling performance is satisfactory at 500mW; however, I have yet to test it at 800mW. Find V2 here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2689384
