This design is for the standard type of XT60 connectors that have a rounded negative side and a removable grey skirt at the bottom. There are many vendors selling these same style XT60s, making them widely available. The design creates a secure hold on the XT60, allowing users to disconnect without straining the wires or connection. To release the battery from the quad, simply pull on the XT60 without holding onto both sides of the connector. This is made possible by the design's unique features that make it easy to grip and remove the battery without causing any damage. For added security, there are two slots for small zip ties to prevent the XT60 from being pulled through during disconnection. However, this feature has not been used in practice, as the plug has not shown any signs of coming loose.
