TBS Source One V0.2 - VTX & Antenna Mounts
prusaprinters

Made these VTX and Antenna mounts for a for my new mid range build using the TBS Source One V0.2 Frame. I've used this Banggood LED/Buzzer Combo on all my prior builds, so the antenna mount was designed around this specifically. I printed my stuff in PETG, but TPU would probably be the best. Also you need to print both of these with supports. Anyways I hope someone else finds this useful with their build.

Antenna Details:
Since I don't have the harden CF antenna, I place the thin wire version inside a normal RC antenna tube (which I cut a long slot with a Dremel to get the entire antenna in the tube. Then I put some heat shrink around the tube that I cut.) Flew 3+ miles with this antenna setup, might not be the best for freestyle flying. Also I don't like any of the antenna metal parts to touch the frame, so I would put a small piece of electrical tape over the exposed metal that can contact the top plate.

RX Mount Details:
To mount the Micro CF RX I just used some Velcro. It worked well with my last build, but since I didn't have a 3D printer at the time I Velcro'ed it to the top plate. With this design I don't have to remove anything from the top plate if I need to remove it.

VTX Mount Details:
I also created a VTX mount for the Unify Pro HV V3 which lifts it off the frame. My logic for raising it was to make sure it was cooled by air evenly on both sides. I removed the plastic wrapping on my VTX, so I could waterproof it with silicon conformal coating, so this mount may not work if yours is covered in the heat shrink plastic. Made a slot for a small zip tie to mount it securely. I drilled the holes a little, then used some spare short M3 screws to secure it to the frame.

Parts Used:

TBS Unify HV V3

TBS Nano CF RX

VAS Ion V2 - (Any antenna should work)

Banggood "RC Tail LED Light WS2812B with 5V Super Loud Buzzer Dual Mode for RC Racing Drone" $5

RC Antenna tube

Velcro

Ziptie for the VTX

Print instructions

Category: R/C Vehicles Print Settings

Printer Brand: Prusa

Printer: i3 MK3

Rafts: No

Supports: Yes

Resolution: .15mm

Infill: 20%

Filament: Amazon Basic PETG Black
