TBS Source One SMA + Immortal T + Capacitor + Finder
thingiverse
Another remix of the original by ToOfke, this one tailored specifically for the Source One with added features. The SMA mount and Immortal T holder from the previous version remain, but now include a capacitor holder and tie down area designed to accommodate finders like Hellgate or ViFly. The cap holder is precision-crafted to fit the 1000uf Panasonic capacitors sold by RDQ and other shops, mounting them vertically with ease. No tie wraps are required; simply apply heat shrink to the leads to prevent short circuits. To ensure a secure connection, solder 20 gauge wire directly from the caps to the battery terminals. A side wall with strategically placed holes allows for easy attachment of a quad finder like the ViFly. Depending on the type of ty-wraps used, these holes may need to be drilled larger for a snug fit. When printing with PETG or other non-flexible materials, take a moment to clean up the holes with a 13/64 drill bit for a perfect seal against the knurled standoffs. This is especially important for optimal performance (Note: not required in version 6). Updates have been implemented to further enhance this design. As of July 11th, 2020, a small printable retainer has been added as a separate file specifically for Immortal-T or R9-T antennas. This provides a more secure and reliable attachment method compared to hot gluing. Another update on August 30th brought the latest version with larger holes for standoffs, eliminating the need for drilling altogether. Additionally, the antenna mount was modified to accommodate both eared and non-eared designs. This is now the version 6.
