TBS Source One GPS Module Mount (BN880 & M8)

Heavy-duty design mounts BN-880 or M8 GPS modules securely to TBS Source One frames, fitting on either the front or rear of the frame. A 30mm x 42mm hole pattern provides stability. To ensure a snug fit, slightly round the corners of the GPS module boards by simply breaking off the corner. This allows easy installation into the recessed area. A relieved section enables secure attachment with 3-4 wraps of 1/2" (13mm) Kapton tape before screwing it down tightly. The bottom plate is made of durable 3mm thick material. A convenient 10mm hole facilitates easier removal of a taped-down module. This design also fits the iFlight Lawson Battleaxe frame when mounting the GPS module in the rear. It works seamlessly with toilet tank top mount or bottom mount battery configurations. If your quad features a 30x42 mm screw pattern on its top plate, this piece should be compatible. Update: As of July 11th, 2020, I added a new file to accommodate smaller M8 style modules from RDQ, TBS, and other manufacturers. Additionally, the design now allows wires to run up in front of the top plate behind the camera and under the mount before entering the module, resulting in a clean installation with completely protected wires.
