TBS Source 7" quadcopter BlackMagic Design Pocket 4k, Panasonic GX85 camera mounting plate
thingiverse
This is a plate to mount a BlackMagic Design Pocket 4k or Panasonic GX85 camera to a TBS Source 7" which is flipped upside down (so the batteries hang underneath and camera goes on top). I also used it on a GH5, but the video from non-IBIS cameras comes out better at that weight. It has extra holes so you can move the plate around to get the CG right. I had to shift mine all the way forward but this will depend on the batteries you are using probably. You will need to use the Shendrones Thicc soft mount parts which can also be found on Thingiverse. They go in between this plate and the quadcopter. I believe I had to resize them in my slicer to get the correct spacing, but forget the details at this point! The rear spacing is about 30mm wide and 37mm in the front. I used a soldering iron to enlarge the holes in the TPU soft mounts. I used M3 nuts to secure to Thicc soft mounts. I had to drill the holes out slightly for the M3 bolts to fit easily. You will need long straps - 250mm is a start. ProgressiveRC had the beefiest, longest straps I could find. I had to double up on straps for the BMPCC. I also used Kyosho 3mm damping gel between the camera and plate which I found on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0188Q253M Quad has 2806.5 motors, 60amp ESC, and 7054 props.
