I drew inspiration from Teamsee3d and Dttocs' designs, but I decided to use PVC instead of a rod. I rebuilt the model to accommodate 1/2" PVC and ensured tight tolerances so the mount wouldn't move. You may need to do some light sanding due to these precise specifications. Fortunately, I was able to attach the mount to the PVC without any modifications.
