The TBS Gemini Body Retention System was crafted to shield the PCB/ESC tracks from the sharp lexan cover edges, primarily during landings. To provide an effortless setup process for attaching and removing the top and bottom lexan covers. The system also minimizes elastics/o-rings loss. While fitting perfectly inside the Gemini travel case. Two loops and two hooks are manufactured and secured to the top edge of the lower lexan cover with Goop, accessible at home improvement stores. An o-ring is attached to each loop, then stretched across the upper cover before attaching it to the opposing hoop on the cover's side. The parts were printed on my Solidoodle 4, using 0.3mm resolution and 1.0 infill settings. Additionally, some Goop adhesive and elastics or o-rings measuring 2.75-3.25 inches are required for this system. Installing a strip of silicon fuel tubing along the bottom lexan cover's perimeter is also suggested. The silicone will safeguard the PCB/ESC tracks from edge impacts during landings. Mount the top and bottom lexan covers, determining hook & loop placement. 3. Remove the bottom cover; scuff areas where hooks and loops will attach for enhanced adhesive adhesion. Follow Goop's installation directions; install loops according to the instructions. 4. Stretch one end of an elastic or o-ring through a loop from below; then insert the other end into the opposite loop, securing it tightly. 5. Attach both elastics/o-rings across the upper cover, securing them to their respective loops using only moderate tension. Ensure proper placement to prevent lexan damage. 6. Once completed, prepare for flight.
