On April 11, 2015, the TBS Discovery received an update that includes an added plate for enclosed GPS systems like Hobbyking NEO7. This plate allows for mounting additional electronics such as a brushless gimbal controller (AlexMos/Martinez style, 50mm width), a VTx, and a UBLOX LEA-6H GPS in a row on top of the TBS Discovery.
