UPDATE. I'm happy to report that this modification works really well, but I did notice one potential issue: my plug on the camera board was quite close to the Quad-copter's arm. Fortunately, it still worked just fine. To address this problem, I created an extended version of the mount, which is available for download as "fpv-camera-isolation-mount-extended-V2.stl." This revised design gives more clearance between the plug and the quad-copter's arm, so if you're having similar issues with your camera board, this might be a good solution. My setup utilizes a SONY Super HAD Board Camera, which I was able to fit comfortably into this new mount. If you prefer not to use the sticky pad method I employed, you can certainly attach the camera to the mount using bolts and spacers – just keep in mind that these add an extra step to your build process. You can obtain the vibration damping balls used in my design from HobbyKing by visiting their website and following this link: Vibration Damping Ball (65gr). They come four per bag, which should provide you with ample material for your build.
