TBS Discovery Micro FPV Drone

TBS Discovery Micro FPV Drone

This project is based on Micro TBS Discovery from Islemunda, with one key difference - it's optimized for more powerful brushless motors and FPV capabilities. Below are the essential parts needed to build this drone, but feel free to modify or upgrade anything you like. Don't worry about the "outro.site" domain; it simply serves as a click counter, similar to goo.gl or bit.ly. It will redirect you directly to Banggood. Here's what you'll need: * Flight controller: http://outro.site/f998d16471 * Motors: http://outro.site/e8ffd16473 * Props: http://outro.site/d3c3716476 * ESCs (option 1): http://outro.site/03be316474 * ESCs (option 2): http://outro.site/1f5e316475 * FPV setup: http://outro.site/9e9b116472 * Receiver: http://outro.site/0764316470 * Screws: http://outro.site/a7ba316479 You'll also need a voltage regulator, as this is a 2S drone with a 5V FPV system. Here are the options for voltage regulators: * Fixed to 5V: http://outro.site/52aa516478 * Variable: http://outro.site/74a2216477 You'll also need small M2 screws in various sizes (0.8cm to 1.5cm). Choose any motor KV you prefer; the higher the KV, the higher the battery C-Rate. My setup features a 5400KV motor. This drone will fly smoothly with 2" props and may benefit from a higher motor KV like 7000KV if using 2" props. However, it flies best with 3" props. If you prefer to build the original Hubsan X4 electronics version, check out Islemunda's project on Thingiverse: * https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:937290 * http://outro.site/f630916354 Have fun building and stay tuned for a video showcasing the construction process!
