TBS Crossfire Spektrum mount

TBS Crossfire Spektrum mount

This is a custom mount that I designed specifically for my TBS Crossfire transmitter and 2s lipo battery, which also fits perfectly on my Spektrum DX8 radio. The design should work seamlessly with other Spektrum radios featuring a plastic handle, thanks to its adaptable clips that are securely attached to the main body using strong glue. As an added bonus, I want to share some valuable information for Spectrum radio users who've been struggling to get the RC input working smoothly with the Crossfire. The solution lies in the stereo jack on the cable - simply swap the black and white wires as shown in the accompanying picture, and the PWM signal will be successfully transmitted to the X-Fire system. It's also worth noting that the trainer jack does not supply any current, so you'll need to power it externally using a separate battery. I've recently uploaded an updated version of this design, which features a thicker cross-section and a loop/notch for easy securing with a zip tie. This revised model is now available as "crossfireclip_rev_2". Even more recently, I've pushed another update to the design - "crossfire_mount_v2" - which boasts a streamlined profile by removing the battery compartment. This modification not only reduces the overall height of the mount but also makes it less prone to toppling over when placed on a surface.
