Having the antenna situated below your quad arm poses a significant risk of damage to the antenna every time the copter lands. This is why protection of the entire system was the top priority in this design, featuring extreme rigidity with just 3g added weight. I'm pleased to say that it's working out well for me so far! Considering my intention to extend the range and push the limits further, the antenna location must be positioned as far away from the carbon frame as possible. Taking this into account, I've designed a mount specifically for the "TBS Crossfire Immortal Rx Antenna-Arm Location," tailored for Armattan Rooster and Chameleon Ti models. Please note that this design assumes you have some landing pads installed on your quad; I use the thick "Armattan" shaped ones to prevent the antenna mount from getting crushed during landings. The installation process is a breeze – simply snap it into place with a bit of pressure, and it will fit perfectly. Secure it further with a couple of zip ties. As visible in the photos, I've added a black neoprene-silicone tube to protect the exposed antenna cable from damage when landing or encountering sharp carbon fiber frame edges. To print this design effectively, I recommend printing it upside down (cavity facing up), using 25% infill and a 2 mm brim width. This will increase the surface area and improve adherence to the heated bed. You can print it with various materials, including PLA, ABS, or even soft materials like TPU.
