TB-Clamping - Wade's Geared Nema 17 Extruder

This extruder is a modification of Wade's Geared Nema 17 Extruder by Wade, available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1794. An updated version of the TB-Clamping design can be found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5577. The extruder block features a thermal barrier clamping system on its underside. A 45~50mm one-piece PEEK thermal barrier is used, which is attached to a nozzle and nophead's aluminum box heat-end. This design allows for easy removal of the PEEK thermal barrier and nozzle for cleaning and maintenance. The thermal barrier is placed 18mm deep from the top face of clamping. In the picture, the base of the extruder block is shown printed at 8mm thickness, but the provided .stl file has been revised to 4mm for faster printing. Note that this model has also been resized to fit a MakerBot printing bed.
