I Quickly Discovered That The Dual Extruder For My Taz4 Was Incomplete When It Came Out. There Were No Cooling Fins, And Print Was Suffering. Many Fans Have Been Set Up To Direct Air Flow, But I Had To Get Creative Due To Its Bulky Design. Since Existing Solutions Weren't Adequate, I Came Up With My Own Idea: A Dual Extruder That Was Easier To Manufacture Without Starting From Scratch. My Best Solution Was To Revise The Entire Assembly Instead Of Making Something Completely New, Given Time Constraints. The Files Below Are Required Parts. Note That All Materials Were Printed Out Of ABS Except As Specified Below. The Hose Coupling Was Printed Using Ninja Flex. Please Refer Below: 1) Hose Coupling This Part Is Connected To The Middle Hose Ductwork 2) Air Divider A Super Glue Used On The Bottom Flex Plate 3) 12mm to 8mm Splitter Dividing Ribbed Hose Into Two Smaller Silicone Hoses 4) Hose Holder Optional Mount Plate Modified With An Extra Channel For Accommodating The Hose In Middle. 5) Mount Plate Modified To Incorporate Air Hose. Hardware Needed: M3 Brass Insert (4) 6) Bottom Rack Channels Are Added For Wires, As Well As Slots For Led Lights. Electronics Used: Adafruit Led Sequins - Warm White (Vendor - Www.adafruit.com/products/1758) 7) X-Carriage 01 Modified To Accommodate Additional Hose Channels. Hardware: M3 Brass Insert (15) Instructions To Form The Copper Pipe: Insert Metal Peg Into Pipe, Bend It To The Right Shape, And Then Clamp The Jig Into Vice, Press With A Hammer Until The Desired Shape Appears.
