The initial layout features extensive slots for installing screw fasteners within the ventilation channel that accompanies the printer's shipment. Dislodging these fasteners from their original setting and then incorporating them into a revised part can be extremely frustrating. In response, I optimized the design to diminish the size of these mounting points, allowing users to effortlessly thread screws directly through the new component while using self-tapping capabilities. The relevant OpenSCAD code has been embedded for convenience.
