TAZ autolevel sensor
thingiverse
This is my design for a servo mounted microswitch for an autoprobe, specifically tailored for the TAZ5. I sought to create one that required minimal hardware modifications. The probe holder attaches to the bottom of the extruder plate, allowing you to easily swap out the existing M4x20 screw with a longer M4x30 screw and get started. The switch arm fits snugly over the servo horn. To ensure reliable movement into place, I selected a Hitec HS-5050MG servo, but any submicro servo should suffice. A self-tapping screw secures the servo to the probe holder, either a #2x1/2" or a M2x12 will do. The servo wing not used for attachment was clipped off as it got in the way. This setup is compatible with the improved hotend fan found on thingiverse under http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1461335 Print Settings: Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: Mini Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 20%
