This is a hastily assembled guide for retrofitting the Taz 6 with the Taz Pro Y-Motor Mount. The Taz Pro Y-Motor Mount features a bearing situated above the top of the motor to prevent lateral lever torque that puts additional lateral load on the motor. As such, this modification may reduce motor heat and potentially prolong the lifespan of your stepper.
