TAZ 5 Power Supply Bracket
thingiverse
This bracket mounts the TAZ 5 power supply vertically on the printer's side just above the electronic control box. Create four of these brackets and attach them directly to the back of the power supply using 4mm screws in the existing threaded holes where the sheet metal case is held to the power supply unit inside the box. Use 5mm screws and aluminum extrusion nuts to secure the bracket to the printer frame. To avoid possible interference with the printer carriage's bolts, use lower profile heads on the 5mm bolts (Pan head rather than typical SHCS). The cord going to the electronic control box exits the power supply from the opposite side compared to the original design; I also added a 120V outlet box to the front side under the power switch. These modifications were made to clean up chord routes and provide local 120v power to the MatterControl Touch tablet. These changes are not necessary for this power supply mounting bracket to function.
