TAZ 5 - Mitutoyo 543-253 Mount

I mounted a digital indicator, like the Mitutoyo 543-253, on my Lulzbot TAZ 5 using the printer's extruder model. I modified it to allow for a dial/digital indicator with a mounting lug that is 0.25" thick and has at least 0.5" travel. To secure the indicator, I used a 1/4" diameter shoulder screw and an external-tooth lock-nut. I chose the shoulder screw mainly because it would save the finish on the lug of the indicator - I also had them on hand. I took out the extruder head completely from the printer and connected a resistor across the two thermistor pins on the printer harness, or else a "Min-Temp" error would come up. If you're not comfortable inserting the resistor on the thermistor pins, I don't recommend completely removing the extruder - I am not responsible if you short the wrong pins. Here are the McMaster-Carr Hardware items I used: * Steel Locknut with External-Tooth Lock Washer Zinc-Plated: 90675A011 * Alloy Steel Shoulder Screw: 91259A537
