Custom designed Bowden setup for TAZ 5, specifically tailored for use with the stock single extruder. To get started, you'll need a few essential components: * 1/4" outer diameter (OD) 1/8" inner diameter (ID) PTFE tubing, approximately 2-3 feet in length * 1/4" pneumatic push fittings with M6 thread, requiring two units * M4 screws measuring 12mm in length (optional, depending on how you choose to mount the extruder) * M4 drop-in T-slot nuts (also optional) To ensure optimal performance, you'll need to adjust your retraction settings: The Wades extruder is capable of reaching speeds of up to 20mm/s and a distance of 5-6mm works exceptionally well for preventing stringing, skipped steps, or filament grinding. Other than this adjustment, all other print settings should remain unchanged, as the TAZ comes equipped with a standard 0.5mm nozzle. The custom setup was put to the test by printing a 3Dbenchy at a layer height of 0.22mm and an infill density of 20%, using HIPS filament.
