Taz 4 E3D V6 extruder mount
thingiverse
Mount your E3D V6 all-metal hot end to your Taz 4 or equivalent model using my modified design, guaranteed to provide perfect results. My custom modification is based on the Matterhackers website, but theirs made the extruder too high for the bed, so I fixed it. The key steps are straightforward: First, print two locks and one base .stl files. Then clamp these two pieces together on the extruder and drill four holes for bolts. Insert screws from the top and tighten the nuts at the bottom. Next, sandwich the base between the extruder mount and the carriage. This clever mod allows you to use the E3D hot end without touching your bed or making any other adjustments.
