As things get old, they break. As did the hinges on my 2002 Boston Whaler - Dauntless 22 porthole hinges, originally made and manufactured by Taylor Made. After scouring the internet, I could not even find anything remotely close to the original hinges. As I had recently got a 3D printer of my own, I figured I would take matters into my own hands. The hinges fit and work very well. As they sit in the boat now, close to 2 years old, they're done in PETG. I did have some issue with determining the best orientation to print them, as to increase strength, but I did not change the model itself. That is exactly as the OEM part. Play around with various print settings, let me know what you get. AS for the connector, I believe I had to drill out the hole to the proper size for the screws to thread into the plastic.
