I customized the Prusa LCD cover (R2 version) to give my Taurus a complete makeover. The changes are purely cosmetic, but I did create a better knob that installs just like the original parts. After swapping out the stock lever-knob for a real knob, I was surprised by how uncomfortable it felt initially. But once I got used to it, the enjoyment factor increased tenfold. In hindsight, the stock knob was really finicky and frustrating to use. To achieve the best results, I recommend printing with a 0.15 layer thickness and a 45-degree bridging angle using PETG. Be aware that there are two hidden supports in the PCB clip on the underside, along with two more in the card slot. Simply snap them out with pliers. Upgrading your stock MK3 with Taurus upgrades will significantly enhance your printer's performance. You can expect higher-quality prints, easier operation, increased reliability, and a sleeker design (I hope!). To take your printer to the next level, consider adding a Skelestruder. Update 2/5: I recently added a multi-material version of the knob, which includes six different colors. To print this version, simply load all six STL files into Slic3r at once using an MNU printer profile. You'll need to merge two of the colors and set them up as desired. Update 1/15: I made some minor tweaks to the design to make the reset button text more prominent and added a few extra knurls to the knob for better grip.
