I developed an enclosed Housing specifically designed for the Taulman Spools, which are compact in size and prone to humidity absorption. Unpredictable behavior was experienced due to their tendency to unwind under normal conditions. As a solution, I implemented an innovative approach, successfully addressing two major issues out of three - not bad for a starting point. Controlling humidity levels is notoriously challenging. One crucial component snaps into a precise index hole and center void (ID) on the Taulman Spool, while another securely attaches this assembly to a rotating holder equipped with a bearing that allows smooth spinning movement.
