<p>Pulled my new Taulman 910 out of my filament dryer and put it up to the stock spool arm only to find it didn't fit. There are other options out there, but my printer's location doesn't allow for spool holders that sit on a flat surface. I slapped this together using the stem of the stock spool arm so I could continue using my current printer configuration, and easily switch back to the stock arm for 1kg spools. </p><p> </p><p>Print settings:</p><p>I ran the first version off in 910 (nylon) before I got the filament calibrated, installed it, and it held up fine during the calibration and final print. A stiffer filament like ASA or PC might be better suited, but is seems sturdy enough with 6 perimeters, 25% gyroid infill, and 0.5mm extrusion width at a 0.3mm layer height @250C.</p><p> </p><p>Hardware:</p><p>Two standard chinesium m3 hex nuts and two screws (90% sure I used a 12mm and 16mm screw, but just make sure the screws are fully recessed in their countersinks)</p>
