Introducing the fully detailed TATRA PHOENIX 8X8 Mining Truck model at 1:1 original size, a result of six to seven months of work using SolidEdge ST5 software. Over 90% of the model is created by the designer with parts from GrabCAD Library used in collaboration. Special thanks to the engineers for their contributions. Key features include TATRA axles with independently suspended swinging half-axles and axle differential lock, outstanding off-road capabilities, high transportation speed, a high payload, low fuel consumption, and driver comfort. The engine is a PACCAR MX 340 with six cylinders, 12,900 cm3 swept volume, producing 340 kW/1,500 min-1 power and 2,300 Nm/1,000 - 1,400 min-1 torque, meeting EURO V (SCR) emission standards. The front axle is steered and driven with swinging half-axles and an axle differential lock, utilizing hub reduction, disengageable front drive, air bellows, and telescopic shock absorbers. Rear axles are driven with swinging half-axles and interaxle differential lock, employing "Heavy combined TATRA suspension" - air bellows. Braking systems include wedge type self-adjustable drum brake units with EBS, featuring four separate systems: service, emergency, parking, and engine brakes. Wheels and tires options range from 315/80 R22.5 (rear dual wheels) to 16.00 R20 (front) and up to 24 R21 (rear) 20" disc wheels and tires. The vehicle's curb weight with a tipper body is 16,900 kg, while the payload capacity reaches 33,100 kg, boasting a GVW of 50,000 kg.
