This is a 28mm model of the interwar Czech OA vz.30 armoured car, featuring a remarkable combination of rarity and widespread service. According to Wikipedia, only about 50 units were produced, yet this vehicle served in five different armies: the pre-Munich Czech Army, the Slovak, Hungarian, Romanian, and German Armies. I built this model for a friend assembling a Romanian Army force, so it remains unpainted. My starting point was Jarlang's excellent 1/72 file, which I then scaled up to 28mm. I added separate axles, adjusted their spacing, incorporated a hood and additional light details, created the anti-bullet splash shield on top of the hull, and included separate machine guns. Be prepared to use a pin drill to widen the recess for the hull-mounted MGs.
