Files to upgrade Tatara A8 1.1 frame to MGN9 rails are ready. DXF files for laser cutting and bending were created for 3mm steel plates. You will need three 350mm MGN9 rails and three H-type carriages. The new X-axis features a belt tensioner. Examine the DXF file carefully. A dotted line represents the bending path, but if you don't use a bending tool, it indicates the cutting route instead. When bending is used, measure 6-7mm from the rear base plane on the "shelf" and cut along its entire length. Additionally, the Badass DiggityDank MK8 Carriage was modified to work with this X-axis assembly. The main part of the Tatara frame, including mounting holes for MGN9 rails, is identical to that used for IGUS rails.
