Tatara frame 3d printer with duet 2 wifi board
thingiverse
I was on the hunt for a solution to use with my printer's base, specifically one based on the Tatara frame, and I came up empty-handed, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and create something from scratch. I'm absolutely thrilled with the components I've chosen: Duet 2 boards, IGUS bearings, anti-backlash nuts mounted directly onto Z trapezoidal screws, BLTouch sensors, E3D hotends, a 24V Meanwell LRS-350-24 power supply, and BMG Duladrives. All of these parts were printed using ABS plastic, but I'm still tweaking the design - some components have already been reworked, so you may see older versions in the photos. The X-axis rods have a pitch of 45mm, which allows for another set of parts to be used on the Z-axis. However, since I had IGUS bearings with an outer diameter of 16mm instead of the standard 15mm, I decided to use them on the X-axis and created an additional holder with a 15mm outer diameter. My goal was to create a printer capable of detailed printing with a 0.25mm nozzle in a V6 heatblock setup. If you'd prefer to use a volcano hotend or Bowden setup, you can utilize carriages from my Cube Printer project on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3263329. This project is still underway, and if it's not printing correctly, please post feedback so I can make the necessary adjustments.
