Some users report experiencing instability in Y and Z axis rods on Tatara A8 Steel Frame **V100**: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2221391. This issue arises when laser cutting yields inaccurate results with very poor tolerances or subpar quality rods. To help resolve this problem, we designed 3D printable parts to secure and accurately calibrate the alignment of Y and Z axis rods. These parts feature two holes positioned at a 90-degree angle to accommodate *M3 hexagon socket set screw (4mm length)* for precise locking and alignment of the rods. **Change Log:** 27/12/2017 Tatara-A8-V100-ExtraPrecision-Y-locker-with-extra-space-v002 Tatara-A8-V100-ExtraPrecision-Y-locker-v002 Corrected measurements Added files: Tatara-A8-V100-ExtraPrecision-Y-locker-with-extra-space-v002-Y-end-stop.stl Tatara-A8-V100-ExtraPrecision-Y-locker-flat-v002-Y-end-stop.stl To assemble the Y axis on your Tatara A8 Steel Frame V100 Z axis, begin by attaching the bottom part. Then attach the top part, removing the steel top plate in the process. Similarly, to assemble the new parts on the Y axis, remove either the front or back Y plate. **Important Note:** You must mirror the parts before printing to achieve the desired opposite side. Because ANET A8 stock rods often exceed declared lengths of 380mm, we provide a variant with extra space and an additional hole for locking the rod in place.
