Tarp Clip

These two parts are attached to opposite sides of a tarp or fabric and fit snugly together. There are holes in one part that create an attachment point stronger than most tarp clips sold at stores. These attachments are perfect for setting up blanket forts during emergencies and also for fighting off severe snowstorms. To Get Started: Tie your rope securely to the attachment with a cow hitch (as shown). Pull back the tarp, gather it into a bundle around this attachment, and slide that bunch through an oval opening on another part of the attachment. As soon as you've aligned these oval openings again, they'll lock together snugly. Gently pull out the slack in the tarp to smooth out any wrinkles. This extra-large version offers extra space for thicker tarps. Make sure to always tug along the longest axis (as shown) to create maximum stability.
