The Tarot TL-2876 Transmitter Tray holds the FrSky Taranis securely in place using this custom baseplate. A slight angle is maintained by the tray, which causes the bottom presser foot to nudge the transmitter upwards and outwards from its position. This baseplate serves as an intermediary between the spherical washer and the bottom of the transmitter, providing a solid hold without needing the spherical washer to be glued onto the Taranis. Instructions: Notice that the backside of this component is positioned at an angle. In case you want to regenerate the STL file from its SCAD counterpart, do not forget to position it flat on your 3D printing bed! It's worth noting that since the tabs intended for the transmitter baseplate slots, as well as the space reserved for the spherical washer, are slightly elevated above the bed level, support material is likely going to be required during printing. A printed model made using a 0.127 layer height and a honeycomb infill of 40% can effectively be achieved by incorporating support during the printing process. Using a heated bed is highly recommended due to warping that may occur at the corners due to size, particularly when printing with PLA material on blue painter's tape. A spherical washer fitted into its designated relief should bond well once it's heated to the point of melting and press-fit. It helps smoothen bridging problems in the inset hole and is advisable to utilize a soldering iron for this process while being slow. In case the washer happens to fall out, a tiny drop of CA glue should securely hold it into place.
