My friend's quadcopter malfunctioned and the critical link between the horizontal landing leg and the vertical landing strut snapped, causing a stress fracture on the horizontal landing leg as well. I took charge of designing a replacement part that would not only restore connectivity but also fortify the horizontal landing leg to prevent future failures. Print Settings: Printer: Flashforge Creator Pro Rafts: None, actually - they don't matter in this case. Supports: Not necessary, but they did get used nonetheless. Resolution: .2mm, a relatively high resolution that produces precise prints. Infill: 50%, a moderate level of infill density for optimal structural integrity. Notes: These settings are entirely adjustable to suit your specific needs. I printed the replacement part using ABS plastic with three shells for added strength. Using supports was an overcautious measure, as they weren't strictly necessary in this instance. Post-Printing: Post Processing: 1) If you did use supports, simply insert a rod to dislodge any debris. 2) Apply epoxy to securely bond the parts together.
