To attach the Tarot arm to the Phantom quadcopter's anti-vibration plate, it must be mounted above the plate since its length would otherwise cause the GoPro3 to hit the ground. Additionally, a mount was created for the controller board that fits the roll control brushless motor using friction. Makerbot Replicator printing with clear ABS was used for this project; settings included 50% fill, 4 shells, and .2mm layer thickness. The Board Bracket should be printed with supports and rotated so the 4 cylinders are on the build plate, ensuring a smooth connection to the roll control brushless motor. The 4 cylinders accept #2 1/4 screws from McMaster.com for a secure fit. The design was made using Cubify Invent software, which is user-friendly and costs $50.
