A multipart bumper designed specifically for the Tarmo4 1/10th RC car is being created, with a focus on ensuring it can withstand impacts. To enhance survivability, the mount and grille are printed using materials like carbon fibre or nylon that offer superior strength. Due to the lack of a hardened nozzle, PLA is being used instead, and an attempt is made to design a bumper that can endure minor impacts. However, the grille part is expected to break in severe crashes, as this aspect is still under development. When assembling the bumper, separate bolts are required for attaching the middle flex to the mount and the grille to the flex. Three M4x15 hex head bolts are needed to secure the flex, while three M4x20 socket head bolts are necessary to attach the grille. Feel free to experiment with the design, as STEP files have been included for easy modification.
