Tarmo4 Mods

My printer (UpBox+) isn't printing TPU happily and having seen this design for a driveshaft mold for hot glue - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4334044 - I thought "why not use the whole glue stick?" This driveshaft design uses a standard 7mm gluestick - you will need two of them for each driveshaft. Cut them to 68mm each and give each end a gentle twist in a pencil sharpener to take the edge off (making assembly a bit easier). Keep an eye on your steering lock-to-lock as it may impinge on the Steering Centre Link - I haven't had a problem with my setup but others might. You will also need to cut a little away from the bottom of the battery box where this driveshaft meets the gearbox output gear to give it a bit more clearance for rotation. You can see a video of it in operation here - https://imgur.com/a/iCBeDjZ. Edit - My original 2 x gluestick mod works well on my 1250KV motor but was asked to produce a 4 x gluesitck version for a beefier motor which you can find above (although I haven't tested it). The motor adaptor was something I'm testing to reduce the number of parts that need to be purchased. It requires three M2.5x6 cap head screws for fixation. So far, so good!
