Tarmo4 - Extended Gearbox
thingiverse
This is the extended Gearbox design. This thing doubles the transmission from 2,625:1 to 5,25:1 and so motors with higher kV ratings can run this better than the original gearbox because of the weaker torque required... But there are some problems with this design: 1.the motor mount is shifted backwards around 19mm so you need to print 01A in a modded way 2.the gear-mesh is not perfect, so it creates a lot more noise than before 3.Im pretty new to designing, I just melted 2 gearboxes together but it works, if you have a suggestion let me know. 4.use a file or a sandpaper to sand one side of the middle gear if the bearings dont fit into the housing Use the same Print settings as mentioned by kris on the pfd. Print 07A upside down as in the picture Print 09C on the Tip as shown by the in order to work you will need Outputgear 09A and Inputgear 09B already printed. BOM: 2x 10x15x4mm Ball Bearings (you should have some left) 3x M4x10 screws if you have a inner runner and you use this design, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4375194, there are holes to to mount this thing, but there so close to the edge that there are not counter-bore STEP-File included.
