tarmo 3 upgrades v2

I wanted to create a body that matched the width of the chassis, so instead of redesigning all those components, I simply extended the car by adding a mid-chassis part, extending my front drive shaft, and adjusting the servo steering linkage rod. This was a super simple solution. To determine the length needed, I used 3D Builder to mock up the Tarmo car and placed the Z06 body on top. I then scaled up the body until the wheel wells almost covered the wheels, which gave me the 70mm increase in length. The parts are quick to print and easily drop into their original positions. I replaced the servo link with a typical turnbuckle style and created a new rod for it. Now, the car looks truly scale-like, and its sportscar design actually fits its speed better. Special thanks go out to those who have shared their designs, making this project absolutely awesome. Update: 2/10/2020 - I received some requests for the body files. To accommodate my printer's limitations, I had to split them into separate parts. The front piece can be printed without supports, but you'll need to clean up any strings if your machine struggles with bridging. In contrast, the rear pieces don't require supports and simply need gluing together. The split cabin also requires assembly via glue. The three complete body pieces bolt together using counter-sunk M3 screws in the wheel wells. I printed mine with 10% infill and had to do some serious sanding on the inner wheel wells in front to achieve a full turning radius for my size tires.
