Target Stand

Target Stand

These are corner pieces designed for building a target stand using 1"x2" lumber. I employed cheap pine 1x2's labeled as suitable for porch deck railings, available at Lowes/Home-Depot (actual dimensions are 0.75" x 1.5"). The holes feature a tapered ridge inside them to ensure a snug fit when inserting the wood. Cut your wood to any size you prefer to customize the target stand's dimensions. I included two STL files: one for the full-size item and another trimmed slightly to accommodate the Printrbot Play's small build platform. Enjoy! Print Settings: Printer: Printrbot Play Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.25mm Infill: 20% Notes: I positioned the part upside down on the print bed (refer to images) and used supports to prevent sagging of the horizontal hole during printing. A utility knife was used to remove the support from this hole, requiring some care but yielding a successful outcome. Additionally, if your lumber doesn't fit properly, try scaling up the piece slightly. The tapered ridge inside each hole should still facilitate a tight fit despite any minor slop.
