TARDIS with working doors
thingiverse
This is my TARDIS but with working doors. The interior space measures 58x61x125mm. Laird, a Tinkercad user, designed the console sections. When printed at half scale, the body took 3.5 hours to print, the doors took an hour, and the console took just 30 minutes. I used Gorilla Glue to assemble the console. While it's not the strongest bond, it won't fall apart easily. UPDATE 12/27/16 I've made some changes to improve the design. A small curved section has been added at the bottom of the hinges on the body to prevent doors from falling out. The hinge on the doors and TARDIS body has also been repositioned to increase the opening angle (around 80 degrees) and prevent doors from falling out. Print Settings Printer Brand: Up!
