Tardis Siege Mode

Tardis Siege Mode

thingiverse

I stumbled upon an awesome siege mode Tardis model on Thingiverse, but its base was completely uneven and the geometry was incredibly dense and messy, making it a real pain to work with. So I grabbed a template from this link: http://papermau.blogspot.com/2015/01/doctor-who-siege-mode-tardis-paper.html and created a cleaner version of my own. You should print this model at 100% scale using a minimum nozzle diameter of 0.4mm with a layer thickness of 0.2mm. Supports are only necessary for the bottom 4 notches on the edges, while the midsection notches on the edges printed fine without any supports (I forgot to add some myself, so it might be worth adding them just in case). The vertical details don't require any support, but if you're upscaled the model, you may need to add some for those details. On the other hand, downscaling the model too much will cause a loss of detail from the small rings and will require a smaller nozzle diameter to keep those details intact. Make sure to check your print preview before messing with nozzle sizes or scales.
