TARDIS Jewelry Box

TARDIS Jewelry Box

I really loved the concept of TARDIS with drawers by the introspective on Thingiverse - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1257492 was a great starting point, but I wanted my daughter to be able to hang her necklaces in style. The original design was incredibly modular, so I combined all the components together and split them horizontally to create stackable units that perfectly fit my printer's build volume. This clever remix prints out in six distinct pieces: the base, middle section, top plate, and three drawers for storing jewelry. I might eventually add some extra support features to prevent the drawers from sliding out when tilted or add natural-colored windows to let sunlight filter through, but I'm not sure if it's worth the wait - printing these parts takes a significant amount of time. On my home printer with support enabled, it took almost an entire weekend to complete the print job.
