You'll want to add a closed base to your Tardis deluxe kit (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:124033) with a compartment for storing an AA battery holder, similar to this one (https://www.adafruit.com/product/3858). Make sure there's enough slack in the wires so that the battery holder can drop out of the compartment when you need to change batteries. Consider using a connector on the battery wires to simplify assembly. You'll also need to find a screw to keep the battery door closed - I used a 3mm self-tapping screw for this purpose.
