This 3D model was initially designed using Sketchup 7 and later adapted into all other 3D formats. The native format is .skp, while the 3ds Max scene utilizes version 2016, with Vray 3.00 as the rendering engine. As my first attempt at creating a Tardis control room with a functional TARDIS Console, I'm aware that this model pales in comparison to more sophisticated designs. However, utilizing available resources and skills, I created console controls to the best of my ability. Although I lack expertise in crafting domed shapes or simulating wires, I used various geometric forms and maintained consistency in the pattern layout throughout the control room. Two panels deviate slightly from this pattern, a deliberate design choice meant to add visual interest. Additionally, I experimented with integrating roundals into the base of the TARDIS Console, a novel approach I've yet to see replicated in Doctor Who console designs. Within the Time Rotor, I inserted a hexagonal rod instead of the conventional cylindrical shape, believing it adds an extra layer of depth to the control room's aesthetic. The entire design revolves around patterns of circles and hexagons, with roundals placed randomly and in varying sizes to create a whimsical, cookie-cutter effect reminiscent of classic Doctor Who consoles, including those from the Peter Davison, Colin Baker, and Sylvester McCoy eras. To complete this retro feel, I incorporated metalic elements, such as what I call "touch plates," along with nob controls designed to resemble organic shapes.
