Tardis 'Classic Series 1' Cathedral Clock

I built an 'as accurate as I could manage' model of the Tardis Console room long before I created my RepRap printer. Since then, it's been taking up valuable space in my room. I'm happy to report that I've recently found someone who wants to display it at this year's (2015) 9 Worlds convention https://nineworlds.co.uk/ . As a result of parting with my console model, I started thinking "What can I add that I couldn't build before?" The major piece that stumped me in the past was the Cathedral Clock, a prop used throughout series one until it met its demise in the episode 'Edge of Destruction' when its face got melted. So here's my rendition of this iconic piece. As of 29/09/18, I've added a stand to support the clock, allowing it to be easily placed within my Playset (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3108723). To test different printing methods, I printed the stand twice – once upright without supports and once on its side with supports. The result was cleaner when it was printed horizontally. Print Settings Printer: Anycubic I1 Mega Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .16 Filament: Rigid Ink PLA Color: Bronze or brown Instructions I could have modelled the entire item from scratch, but to take advantage of the linear nature of the build, I decided to print the body in three separate pieces that would need gluing together. For printing with PLA, I use Humbrol Poly Cement. The bell was printed as a remix at a scale of 0.2 due to its small size and has been modified for solid printing. To hang the bell, drill a hole through the towers and top half of the bell using a fine drill bit. Next, cut a sewing pin to just under the width of the two towers and thread it through tower one, then the bell, and finally tower 2.
