TARDIS "1963" Candy and Storage Boxes
thingiverse
Working tirelessly on skins for my Raspberry PI boxes has been a thrilling experience. This is the first functioning skin I've successfully created, and while working on skins, I generated numerous other options, including figures and boxes that can be scaled from 0 to N mm/inch. Consequently, when you input 25mm/inch, your printer should be capable of printing a life-sized prop. Normally, I use sizes such as 1.00, 1.85, and 3.93 for bases measuring 50mm, 92mm, and 200mm square. Note this in the scad file: // All numbers from plan for the TARIDS: // 1963 Peter Branchacki Prop // They are inches on the plan... with scaling adjustment will be all in mm for this build // Some numbers are guesses based on visual "measurements" from drawings As newer SCAD become available, I will circle back and update this one. All designs will be attached to the main project for Raspberry Pi boxes. I have also upgraded to OpenSCAD 2019-05 https://www.openscad.org/downloads.html. Using a 3D coldbed printer with a 0.4mm nozzle, all boxes have been printed without added supports; I designed them in instead. I do supply versions without my supports if you prefer your tool's versions instead. I print at 0.2mm per layer at 30% hex fill.
